As we welcome the new year of 2025, it’s also a time to reflect on an inspiring chapter that has been unfolding over the past almost three years. This year, we are excited to mark the conclusion of the T4NA training second cycle, which has seen tremendous progress and contributions from participants across fourteen countries. These dedicated young people have embraced the mission of T4NA, doubling the impact of our initial pilot project, which concluded in 2021/2022.
Since 2022, over 140 participants have been guided by passionate tutors through a hybrid form of leadership training, designed not only to educate but to actively engage and empower participants to lead meaningful change in their local communities. The commitment of these young leaders has been remarkable, with each of them taking what they have learned into their communities and creating tangible impacts.
As we reflect on the achievements of 2024, we are filled with pride and admiration for the efforts and resilience of each country’s participants. From fostering empowerment, tackling gender inequality, addressing climate change, to promoting dialogue and action, the impact has been widespread. These young people are proving that positive change is not only possible but actively happening. Their work is reshaping communities and making strides toward a brighter, more equitable future for Africa and beyond.
But this is just the beginning. While we celebrate the tremendous efforts of our participants, the journey continues. In the upcoming months, we’ll keep you updated with inspiring stories and highlight the ongoing activities from each country. The final stages of our training cycle will focus on local and regional impact, fostering even deeper connections and more powerful contributions to the communities involved.
We thank each participant and alumni for their unwavering dedication, and for reminding us all that change starts with action. As T4NA grows, we remain incredibly grateful for supporters and friends as well as all of you who are shaping the future of Africa and the world with your leadership, determination, and vision. With T4NA we celebrate the power of youth, unity, and the relentless pursuit of a better tomorrow.
