Who we are?
We are Young African Students from Sophia University Institute, in Italy. We would like to come back to Africa, our beloved continent to help and participate in building an Africa capable of uniting tradition and modernity for development. We believe that young people are responsible for building and shaping a brighter future for Africa. The Africa that we all dream of is possible and we are convinced that now its the time to act and make it happen. To realize that, young people must be protagonists of a New and responsible leadership capable of healing wounds and building bridges between people that will lead to universal brotherhood.
What do we do?
Training New Leaders in the perspective of a Culture of Unity. Regardless of our physical,cultural, social,religious, political and ideological differences, we would like to promote Unity in diversity as a tool towards Fraternity. We believe that it will be the greatest bridge towards realizing the Africa we want.
So far 150 young people from East Africa and Democratic Republic of Congo have began to do so with experts and professors from different countries. The aim of the project is to involve young people from all over Africa with East Africa and DR Congo have been used as a pilot exercise. Already there is overwhelming requests from other African countries to be considered for the next training cycle.
Training on leadership will take a three year cycle with regional academic courses together with local activities that promote fraternal brotherhood to be done in all countries. Already, the project has positively impacted over 7000 young people from East Africa and DR Congo.
NEXT APPOINTMENT
Preparations for the next leadership training with the theme Identity and leadership are at the last stages with over 100 young people having confirmed to participate.
