International Contest – Call for Ideas

-

“For a Sustainable Peace in Africa: Our Contribution” Youth-Led Sustainable Solutions for a Better Future

Introduction

Lasting peace in Africa demands more than just the end of conflict—it requires a proactive approach to dismantling the root causes of instability. Under the powerful theme “For a Sustainable Peace in Africa: Our Contribution,” this international Call for Ideas invites Africa’s young changemakers to lead the charge.

This is a call to action for youth who believe that peace begins in strong communities—where dignity, opportunity, and co-leadership flourish. The initiative challenges young leaders to develop innovative, community-based solutions that address systemic challenges such as:

Extreme poverty and rising inequalities

Poor leadership and civic disengagement

Inadequate access to quality education and skills training

Youth unemployment and limited opportunities

Rural underdevelopment and urban migration

Dangerous migration to Europe

Radicalization and youth recruitment into violence

Environmental degradation and climate-induced displacement

At T4NA (Together for a New Africa), we believe that peace is built on values: Unity, Transparency, Volunteerism, and Co-Governance. This contest is your opportunity to turn those values into tangible impact.
