From Monday 5th December to 31st January the application for Together for a new Africa Second Edition.The experience will cover 3 years of commitment (2022- 2025) through training and activities which are socially oriented and promoted by participants.

This time 14 African countries will be considered: Kenya, Burundi, Madagascar, Nigeria, Cameroun, Togo, Burkina Faso, Mozambique, Uganda, Angola, Tanzania, Republic Democratic of Congo, Benin, Ivory Coast.

The goal of T4NA is a continent characterized by responsible and participatory governance, contributing to the common good of all.This can be achieved through empowerment of African young people to face key challenges of their continent by promoting and developing a culture of unity suited to the African context through lived experiences, training, mentoring and networking. 

Values such as Unity,Co-Leadership, Volunteerism and Transparency are at the core of the training and activities. The main activities of the 3 year training cycle are: three summer schools of seven days (one per year), organizing at least three local activities in your country, at least two online sessions per year.

If you are 18- 35 years old and are from the above mentioned countries, apply now because we have a very limited number that will be considered in each Country.

 

Below are the requirements:

  • Genuine interest in being a good leader of the community
  • Preferably between 18 – 35 years old
  • preferably concluded at least 2years of university or tertiary studies
  • Must have significant leadership experience (at any level: association, church, politics…)
  • valid passport and able to apply for visa for Kenya (i.e., no criminal records)
  • Each participant will be responsible for its local transport as his or her personal contribution
  • Willing to give a personal contribution of 70 dollars split per year : 10 dollars the first, 30 dollars the second year and 30 for the third year.
  • Committed to participate fully in a 3-year training cycle that includes 3 summer schools, at least 3 local activities at national level per year, following at least 2 online sessions.
  • understand well and can express yourself in English or French
  • Recommendation letter of your employer or learning institution.
  • A letter from a leader of the community, organization, or association, that confirms your leadership experience.

  1. Am Regina from Nigeria, I have read through the application and I find out I cannot be part of it which I would have loved to but the age limit has affected me. Am 44 years old.
